Task Description

Lifecycle management activities

Modernization and continuous improvement initiatives

Database migration planning and execution

Performance analysis and optimization activities

Efficiency analysis and database tuning activities

Technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational handover activities

Organization, preparation, facilitation, and active participation in agile ceremonies and processes

Active task documentation and updates in BASF DevOps tools

Integration into agile DevOps teams supporting the Operations Platform portfolio

Database architecture and solution design.

Database administration and operational database support.

Database development and maintenance of database objects.

Data migration and data onboarding activities.

Site onboarding and rollout support activities.

PostgreSQL database administration, development, andoptimization

Requirements

Skill set

At least 5 years of experience in Database Architecture and Database Administration services ( mandatory )

At least 3 years of experience with PostgreSQL databases and database development ( mandatory )

Experience with Azure-hosted database platforms ( mandatory )

Experience in database architecture, database design, schema modelling, and database optimization ( mandatory )

Experience with data migration, data onboarding, and database deployment activities ( mandatory )

Experience supporting site onboarding and rollout activities in enterprise environments ( mandatory )

Experience with database performance analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis ( mandatory )

Experience with incident management and operational support activities ( mandatory )

Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery models ( mandatory )

Experience supporting complex business-critical enterprise applications ( mandatory )

Experience with Operations Platform-related technologies including PostgreSQL, Azure, Java, Angular, and SWIFT framework ( preferred )

Experience supporting global rollout projects and geographically distributed teams ( preferred )

At least two project references in similar database architecture and administration engagements ( mandatory )

Professional English communication skills ( mandatory )
