Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using JobsMatch. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Beta notice — JobsMatch is currently in beta. Features, pricing, and these terms may evolve before the official launch. We will notify you of any material changes before they take effect.

1. About JobsMatch

JobsMatch is an AI-powered job matching platform that helps software developers in Europe find relevant job listings. The service is operated by an individual developer based in the EU (contact: jobsmatch.support@gmail.com). A registered legal entity will be established upon commercialisation of the service.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use JobsMatch.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Each person may hold only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.

3. The service

JobsMatch provides CV analysis, job feed aggregation, and match scoring. We do not act as a recruitment agency, employer, or employment intermediary. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party job listings shown on the platform.

Job listings are sourced from third-party providers. Applying for a position is always done directly on the employer's or job board's website. We are not party to any employment contract or hiring decision.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to share (e.g. someone else's CV).
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform at scale.
  • Use automated scripts to interact with the service in ways that disrupt normal operation.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
  • Upload malicious files or content intended to harm other users or the platform.

5. Subscription and billing

JobsMatch offers a Free plan and a Premium subscription. Premium features are unlocked upon successful payment via Stripe. Prices shown are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel at any time via Settings → Payments → Open billing portal. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • We reserve the right to change prices with reasonable advance notice. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before the effective date.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at jobsmatch.support@gmail.com within 14 days of a charge if you believe it was made in error.

6. AI-generated content

JobsMatch uses AI to analyse CVs and generate job summaries and other content. This content is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee its accuracy and you should not rely solely on AI-generated content for important career decisions.

Job match scores are algorithmic estimates based on skill overlap. They do not constitute professional career advice.

7. Intellectual property

The JobsMatch platform, brand, and all original content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of the CV and profile data you provide. By uploading your CV, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that data solely to provide the service described in these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Job listing data is sourced from third parties. We make no representations about the accuracy, legality, or availability of any listed position.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JobsMatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, loss of data, or loss of revenue.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via Settings → General → Privacy & data → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 7, 8, 9, and 11) will continue to apply.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are subject to applicable EU consumer protection law. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the law of your country of residence, which shall always prevail where they provide greater protection.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. For any unresolved dispute, you may contact us at jobsmatch.support@gmail.com before pursuing formal proceedings.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes via a prominent notice within the app. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
