Terms of Service

JobsMatch is an AI-powered job matching service that helps people find tech roles in Europe. It is operated from Europe by a private individual. There is no registered company yet. Contact: contact@jobsmatch.app.

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use JobsMatch.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.
• Each person may hold only one account. Creating extra accounts to bypass limits is not allowed.

JobsMatch lets you browse aggregated job listings, optionally upload a PDF CV for analysis and matching, save jobs, track applications in a Kanban board, maintain Job Personas, and use AI tools (job summaries, CV rewrite, per-job CV tailoring, and cover letters). Some of these features need an account; some need a paid plan. Browsing listings does not require an account.

We are not a recruitment agency, employer, or employment intermediary. We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete, still open, or lawful. Listings come from third-party job boards. Applying always happens on the employer's or board's own site. We are not a party to any hiring decision or employment contract.

If you create an account, we send a confirmation email and, unless you turn them off, a daily job-alert digest and occasional product emails. The two lists are independent. You can stop either in Settings or with the unsubscribe link in that email.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaks these terms.
• Upload a CV or other content you do not have the right to share (including someone else's CV).
• Submit AI-generated CVs or cover letters to employers without checking that they are accurate and not misleading.
• Scrape, copy, or extract job listings or other data from the platform at scale.
• Use automated scripts in a way that disrupts normal use, or try to bypass rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
• Upload malicious files or content intended to harm other users or the platform.

JobsMatch offers a Free plan (Starter), monthly Pro, and a Career year. Pro (€29/mo) is a subscription: unlimited scans and the Pro tools while it is active. Cancel anytime; when the period you already paid for ends, you are back on Starter, including one scan a month. Career (€149) is Pro access for 1 year in one payment. Anyone who already bought Lifetime keeps that access with no expiry. Paid features unlock after a successful payment through Stripe. Prices shown are the amount you pay at checkout. Where Stripe Tax applies, that amount is tax-inclusive.

• Monthly Pro is billed monthly and renews until you cancel. Career is a single payment: it never renews and there is nothing to cancel.
• You can cancel monthly Pro at any time via Settings → Payments → Open billing portal. Cancel stops the next renewal. It is not a refund of the period already paid. Access continues until that period ends.
• No refunds and no withdrawals after you pay. At Stripe checkout you accept these Terms, ask us to start the service at once, and confirm that you lose the EU 14-day withdrawal right once it is provided. After that, payments are final. We do not refund except where the law requires it (for example if the service is not provided).
• We may change prices with reasonable advance notice. A change never affects a one-time purchase already made. If you do not accept a new subscription price, you may cancel before it takes effect.

JobsMatch uses AI to analyse CVs and to generate job summaries, rewritten CVs, tailored CVs, and cover letters when you ask for them. That output is for information only. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular application. You should review it before you rely on it or send it to an employer.

Job match scores are algorithmic estimates based on skill overlap and similar signals. They are not professional career advice and they are not an assessment of you on behalf of any employer.

The tools rank listings and draft text for your own use. They do not screen applications for employers and they do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.

The JobsMatch platform, brand, and original content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our prior written consent.

You keep ownership of the CV and profile data you provide. By uploading a CV or using an AI tool, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that data solely to provide the service. Third-party job listings, company names, and trademarks remain the property of their owners and are shown for information only.

You own the AI-generated drafts we return to you, to the extent the law allows. You are still responsible for how you use them.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. This does not affect any warranty or remedy you have by law as a consumer that cannot be excluded.

Job listing data comes from third parties. We make no promises about the accuracy, legality, or availability of any listed role.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JobsMatch is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of employment opportunity, loss of data, or loss of revenue.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €50 if you have paid nothing. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → General → Privacy & data → Delete account. That removes your account, profile, and scan history from our servers and cancels an active subscription. On Starter, saved jobs, the Kanban board, personas, and your photo live only in the browser — clear them there if you want them gone. On Pro and Career, the board and personas are also stored on our servers; account deletion removes that copy. The photo stays in the browser.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 7, 8, 9, and 11) will continue to apply.

These Terms are subject to applicable EU consumer protection law. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the law of your country of residence, which always prevails where it gives you greater protection.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. For any unresolved dispute, contact us at contact@jobsmatch.app before pursuing formal proceedings.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes in the app. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
