Job description
Legal processes in Germany and Europe are still slow, fragmented, and deeply offline — notarizations, company formations, registrations, certified translations, business addresses, and more. Beglaubigt is rebuilding this infrastructure from the ground up: digital-first, API-ready, and designed to operate at internet speed. Backed by Y Combinator, we process thousands of cases per year and work with banks, platforms, and service providers across Europe.
Tasks
You'll own a meaningful slice of our product — from frontend to backend, from
idea to deployment. You'll work directly with founders and product, with real
autonomy and clear ownership. Not a cog in a machine; a builder.

What We're Looking For
Experience & Skill:
3–5 years as a full-stack or backend engineer, ideally in a high-pace startup
or scale-up environment
Strong with TypeScript/JavaScript and at least one backend language (Node, Python, Go, etc.)
Comfortable deploying to and working with AWS
You've shipped features to production; you know what "done" means
You care about code quality, but you're not paralyzed by perfection
Mindset
You own problems end-to-end — frontend, backend, deployment, monitoring
You communicate clearly; you ask questions and flag blockers early
You learn fast. Our stack may not be exactly what you've used, and that's okay
You move deliberately but quickly. No unnecessary complexity, no infinite planning
Requirements
Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required
Nice to Have
Experience scaling systems or optimizing performance
Some exposure to product thinking — you care about the "why" behind the feature
Open-source contributions or side projects that show your thinking

Benefits
100% Remote
High ownership and steep learning curve
Workations and team offsites
A high-performance environment
