AI Software Engineer (m/f/d) Location: Vienna preferred (remote within Austria) Salary: €70,000 – €85,000 gross/year Team: ~20 people total, 2–3 Sr.Engineers, AI Agents Reports to: Co-Founder & COO Headcount: Company wide: 20 FTE, Tech Department: 2-3 Engineers Your Mission: Our customer is a Legal-tech B2B SaaS company that can protect any product on the internet (Remove.tech). remove.tech is building the infrastructure to automatically detect and remove counterfeits, scams, and brand abuse across the internet. Remove.tech is a bootstrapped B2B SaaS company from Vienna. In just 3 years, we grew from 0 to €1.2M ARR working with creators and global brands. Now we’re looking for an AI-first engineer who wants to take real ownership and help us scale the product to the next level. This is not a “feature factory” role. You will shape how our AI systems, data pipelines, and infrastructure evolve. Your First 6 Months After 1 month Understand the product, customers, and data flows Dive into the existing architecture and pipelines Talk to users and see real problems first-hand After 3 months Ship improvements weekly Identify and implement quick wins Build trust and start owning parts of the system Contribute to how AI is used across the product After 6 months Own core parts of the architecture Drive AI and backend decisions• Define how we scale the system for the next years Your Responsibilities Own and evolve backend services (crawlers, APIs, AI services) Design systems for scale, speed, and reliability Build and improve AI pipelines (LLMs, classification, clustering) Turn messy, real-world data into structured insights Improve code quality, testing, and monitoring standards Work closely with founders, product, and customers Help us hire and level up future engineers Your profile Strong backend experience (ideally C#/.NET, but not a must) Comfortable with Node.js as service layer Experience working with data-heavy systems Hands-on experience with AI / LLMs / data pipelines Solid understanding of system design and architecture Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and messaging systems Ownership mindset and decision-making ability Clear communicator Startup or scale-up experience is a plus Tech stack (today): C#/.NET, Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, React/TypeScript What you’ll get: Core role in a fast-growing AI SaaS company Direct impact on product and technical direction Real ownership from day one Exposure to complex problems (AI, crawling, large-scale data) Remote-first setup (DACH) Flat hierarchy, direct access to founders Clear path towards Tech Lead About Us pplwise supports leading, fast-growing companies across Europe in delivering on their growth plans.
