The opportunity
We are searching for high-impact Senior Product Engineers to join our eComm Solutions teams . In this role, you’ll be shaping the core B2B product that connects global carriers, retailers, and travel partners to Distribusion’s infrastructure. Our Portal is the central interface for our ecosystem, spanning high-performance booking and analytics tools, identity management, and operational dashboards. You’ll work across multiple domains, driving architectural decisions, integrating complex flows, and collaborating with teams across Data, Platform, and eCommerce to deliver a seamless, scalable experience. We’re looking for a developer who thrives on ownership, loves solving hard problems, and wants to build the backbone of how the world books ground transportation.
What you will do:

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.
Develop and maintain backend services and APIs within a web project.
Successfully implement the backend of business-critical applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
Debug, test, and optimise applications for performance and scalability.
Improve development workflows: CI, PR reviews, local testing, and release processes that keep iteration fast and friction low.
Partner with stakeholders across the business. Turn ambiguous problems into clear requirements, challenge assumptions, and align solutions with real-world constraints.

Berlin & Hybrid: HQ office in Berlin, where the team often meets.
Remote: We are a remote-first company with teams located around the Globe.
You have:
Several years of experience building and operating backend services in Python, with ownership across the full lifecycle: design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance (other languages such as Ruby, Typescript, are a plus)
Experience with frameworks: preferably FastAPI, Django, ReactJS.
Nice to have: full-stack experience, Docker, Kubernetes
General good understanding of SQL databases, indexes and locks
You are driven, ambitious, and willing to get hands-on in shaping the future of ground transportation travel.
Product-minded engineer who contributes beyond implementation. You actively shape technical direction, influence product decisions, and help define the platform's future evolution.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Comfortable collaborating in a distributed team across multiple time zones, with a preference for clear written communication and asynchronous workflows.
