MICO Software entwickelt und betreibt im Kundenauftrag die Infrastruktur für eine ePaper-Plattform — eine skalierbare Lösung, mit der führende deutsche Verlage ihre digitalen Ausgaben veröffentlichen. Von der automatisierten Aufbereitung hochgeladenen Publikationsmaterials über Content-Management bis zur Auslieferung an Reader-Apps und Web-Frontends: Wir liefern die gesamte Cloud-Infrastruktur und sorgen für Zuverlässigkeit, Sicherheit und Skalierbarkeit.

Wir suchen eine:n erfahrene:n AWS DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) in Teilzeit (20 h/Woche), der/die unsere AWS-Infrastruktur weiterentwickelt, betreibt und sichert — in enger Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Entwicklungsteam.

Aufgaben

Infrastruktur als Code: Weiterentwicklung und Pflege unserer Terraform-Module und Multi-Tenant-Stacks (VPC, ECS Fargate, Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, IAM, AWS Backup)

Betrieb & Zuverlässigkeit: Monitoring, Alarmierung, Incident Response und Pflege operativer Runbooks (Backup/Restore, Secret Rotation, Aurora Cutover)

CI/CD: Ausbau der GitHub Actions Pipelines (OIDC-Authentifizierung, ECR-Deploys, Terraform Plan/Apply, DB-Migrationen)

Multi-Tenant-Betrieb: Onboarding neuer Verlags-Mandanten, Isolation und Skalierung der Tenant-Stacks

Sicherheit: IAM-Least-Privilege, KMS, WAF, Secrets Manager, TLS/DNS-Konfiguration inkl. Kunden-Domain-Onboarding

Event-getriebene Pipelines: Betrieb der ETL-Kette (S3 → SQS → ECS) für PDF-Verarbeitung und Vorschau-Generierung

Zusammenarbeit: Enge Abstimmung mit Application-Entwicklung (Payload CMS, Node.js/Lambda-Services, Reader-Apps)

Qualifikation

Must-haves

5+ Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Cloud/DevOps, davon substanzielle Erfahrung mit AWS

Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Terraform (Modularisierung, Remote State, Multi-Environment-Setups)

Erfahrung mit Container-Orchestrierung (ECS/Fargate oder vergleichbar) und Docker

Sicherer Umgang mit CI/CD (GitHub Actions oder vergleichbare Tools)

Kenntnisse in Netzwerk & Security auf AWS (VPC, Security Groups, IAM, ACM, WAF)

Erfahrung mit relationalen Datenbanken im Cloud-Kontext (RDS/Aurora)

Deutsch mindestens Niveau B2 — für Abstimmung mit Kunden und im Team

Gute Englischkenntnisse für technische Dokumentation

Eigenständige, strukturierte Arbeitsweise und Freude an operativer Verantwortung in einem kleinen, schlagkräftigen Team

Nice-to-haves

Erfahrung mit Multi-Tenant-SaaS-Architekturen

Kenntnisse in CloudFront, Route 53, S3 Event Notifications, SQS/SNS

Erfahrung mit AWS Backup, Disaster Recovery und Restore-Prozeduren

Scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Node.js) für Automatisierung und Runbooks

Berührungspunkte mit Medien-/Publishing-Umfeld oder Content-Plattformen
